Latoya Wilson
Development Executive, Script Editor & Script Consultant
Latoya Wilson is a highly experienced script development executive and script editor with a decade of expertise shaping acclaimed drama and comedy series for leading broadcasters and streamers, including BBC, Netflix, Apple TV, Sky, and Amazon Prime.

Her career began in production, interning on projects for BBC Factual, Sky, and the BAFTA-winning BBC television film The C Word starring Sheridan Smith. Her passion for storytelling led her to the script and story departments of the BBC’s iconic continuing dramas, Holby City and EastEnders, where she refined her script skills. She later joined the multi-Emmy-winning comedy Episodes as a script coordinator, working alongside the co-creators of Friends, before moving on to Idris Elba’s Netflix comedy-drama Turn Up Charlie and worked on Apple TV's award winning comedy Ted Lasso.

Latoya’s expertise lies in script editing, where she has contributed to a diverse range of high-end drama, comedy, and animation.
Her credits include:
• Sky’s crime thriller Bulletproof
• Netflix’s cult hit Top Boy
• The historical fantasy series Britannia
• James Corden’s dark comedy-drama Mammals
• CBeebies’ beloved animated series JoJo & Gran Gran
Dedicated to working with both established showrunners and emerging writers, Latoya graduated from the National Film and Television School (NFTS) with a Script Development Diploma in 2019. She then founded her script consultancy, The Rewrite Room, where she collaborates with writers, producers, and production companies to develop compelling screenplays. She has provided expert script feedback for leading indies, including Federation Stories, Anton Corp, Green Door Pictures, Mam Tor Productions, Rough Cut TV, Firebird Pictures, and Peddling Pictures. Latoya is currently the Development Executive for MsMono Productions, spearheading the company’s scripted slate.

Latoya is passionate about discovering and nurturing the next generation of diverse writers. She has served as a script reader and judge for major national competitions, screenwriting schemes, and film festivals, including the BFI, Channel 4, and BBC Writersroom.
